Election done and dusted. Polls just closed. We had more than 60 volunteers at the booths. Weve spent several weeks in a clean campaign, in various healing too, in mending the WikiLeaks Party and in burning its flame brightly for the future. Whatever the result tonight its the best result we could have got and that means everyone did a great job, much respect. Tibor and Lucy were fantastic candidates who did WikiLeaks a great service. Special thanks to Melissa and Warren. John and Matt flew to Perth and their contributions fantastic, the energy great. Omar, Jen, Josue fantastic work. Special gratitude to Alice in Sydney for all her work and for the volume of posts I sent through! Special love to Gail for her support and aura. And to Efrosini, who did our artwork for the posters and flyers, and who does not like being thanked because she, like the rest of us, is true to the cause for humanitys sake, special gratitude nevertheless. Indeed we did do our best - flyers - 60,000 - on the streets, the 40 plus a day WTV ads, 14 clips filmed and screened and YouTubed and shared, social media we managed to the best of our ability, we emailed our networks, reached communities far and wide, our responses to scorecards and groups were timely and standout, Tibor and Lucy led the show, and let us never forget we got multinational robber barons into the neoconservative The West Australian newspaper, and a reaction from Channel Seven to Tibor about it at the Forum! Every radio interview was strong. Where every Western Australian did not know there was a WikiLeaks Party in the September 7 election, just about every Western Australian does now. We mended relationships from perceived fall-outs with people far and wide, we were the first preference of the Greens and of other relative progressive parties, and that is validation. Our preferences could not be questioned, they conviction and merit based and candidate by candidate. WikiLeaks secured the kindness of the fates with the number one spot on the ballot and this too helped ensure that Western Australians know that there is a WikiLeaks Party. Feedback and good wishes have been warm and steady and not just from around WA, but from around Australia, and from around the world. This is important for the sake of this movement, the WikiLeaks sociopolitical movement, that if on this occasion we do not enter Government, that the future will remember the foundations and the path we have set. 2016 is not far away. There will be WikiLeaks, the world over, its the movement we in this election did our best to revive. All power to all of you, and well whatever the results tonight, which maybe anything, we did well and for the sake of humanity. Much respect, Gerry Georgatos
