Elections done. Campaigning over. Politics aside. Some people are talking about how horrible it is to live in NZ and how they want to leave the country. WAKE UP people! This is an amazing place to live, one of the greenest, most beautiful places in the world. If it is the wage gap and the poor you are concerned about, leaving the country only abandons them. Communities of people need to care for each other and their environment in which they live. I cringe when I hear that people say they dont want their child to live under a certain government. Raise your child to be a world changer, a defender of the hopeless, compassionate to those in need. We are not powerless. We can make a difference in our communities. So mourn your loss or revel in your victory and then seize the day! Carpe diem! Never worry about numbers.
