Electronic Power Technician Analysts International is currently seeking to hire an experienced electronics technician with proven experience in power systems and supplies for our customer in Rochester, MN. In this role you will be involved in formalizing power-based specifications, as well as defining and performing related verification and validation for a series of products. This role requires a mix of skills that include a background in hardware systems, but will also require strong communications skills, problem identification and resolution skills, ability to think on your feet, and the ability to collaborate with team members and customers. The current environment requires someone who can assess the present state of the system and immediately dive in, and consult with client resources to drive results. Must be able to work against a schedule and work to continuously improve processes and efficiency. Must be able to adapt to and thrive in a changing environment. We’re looking for an energetic professional with a mix of skills and experience including the ability work collaboratively with colleagues potentially located in many locations. The skills required include: • AS/BS in Engineering, Systems, or Computer Science field • Experience in product or system definition, characterization or specification • Experience with Windows AND Linux systems • Strong problem solving skills • Proven debug skills including electrical measurement and instrumentation skills. • Experience with programmable power supply tools or simulators • Experience with oscilloscopes or programmable DVMs • Strong analytical and data collection skills • Must demonstrate attention to detail in collecting, analyzing, tracking, and reporting data or results • Experience working on storage products or systems (SSD, HDD, SAN) is highly desired • Experience with scripting or programming (TCL, Python, Visual Basic) is desired. Will generally modify existing routines • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Excellent customer relationship skills • Professional documentation and presentation skills • Ability to quickly learn complex environment and provide value to the project Other tips: Most Critical Skills or Attributes: Self-driven.
