Eleven years ago, in 2003, a human skeleton, barely 6 inches tall, was found in a pouch near an abandoned church in a ghost town called La Noria, 56 km to the interior of Iquique in in the Atacama Desert in northern Chile. The discoverer was a South American named Oscar Muñoz. The remains have been dated to the last few decades, and contain high quality DNA for scientific analyses. The DNA was modern, abundant, and high quality, dating the specimen to be no more than a few decades old. Ata has only 10 ribs, a finding not yet found in humans, and a very unusual cranium. The cranial vault is, proportionally, much larger than is found in normal humans. The bones are quite well developed and are not those of a foetus. A mature, not fetal, tooth is seen in the mandible. A fracture of the right humerus is seen as is a concave fracture of the right posterior-lateral skull, which was most likely the cause of death. Considering that the frontal metopic suture (where the two frontal bones of the skull come together down the middle of the forehead) was very open, and because the hands and feet were not fully ossified, anatomist and paleoanthropologist William Jungers suggested that it is a premature human foetus. However, after examining x-rays, pediatric radiologist Ralph Lachman, co-dir of the International Skeletal Dysplasia Registry at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles concluded that Akas skeletal development, based on the density of the epiphyseal plates of the knees (growth plates at the end of long bones found only in children), surprisingly appears to be equivalent to that of a 6- to 8-year-old child. Immunologist Garry Nolan, director of the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institutes Proteomics Center for Systems Immunology at Stanford Univ. performed DNA analysis. He found the B2 haplotype group. Combined with the alleles from the mitochondrial DNA, it suggested that Ata is indigenous to the west of South America. UFOlogists claim that Ata is an alien. But scientific study has confirmed the presence of definite human genetic material. siriusdisclosure/evidence/atacama-humanoid/
