Eleven years ago, my perfect little life ended abruptly and i was forced into a world of the unknown. The land of divorce. I bought a tiny little brick shanty on a hill in an alley because thats what i could afford. ...definitely not my dream house! But one project at a time, she cleaned up and began to shine. This morning, as i sit on my back patio amidst a garden created in spite of all the clay and rock, and watch the sun rise, i am thankful for this little shanty on a hill. She will never be a showplace for some magazine but she has character and charm and serenity and she was built solidly in a day by craftsmen who knew quality and yet, no one knew about her secret ability to see sun rises and sun sets ...so from my secret garden perch, i feel privileged to watch in awe, this daily event. Perfect-
