Elijah had a pretty exciting day ( when he was awake ). He had a rough morning with some tough seizures. He slept hard until mom brought in the mail. He had a special package from California, they made Elijah an honorary EMT/Paramedic! As I read his area to him e woke up more and more and smiled at what he was hearing. Thank you for your kind words of encouragement and for serving others as you do daily. The night ended making gingerbread houses with our family. I look at these houses and see so many things. Mostly I keep thinking how we all started off with the same basic items and yet the results are so different. Some amazingly sweet parts, some cracks, some glue, lots of candy, it all starts with some flour, molasses, a recipe and mostly a desire to keep our family interacting and as close as we can. These memories are irreplaceable. Seeing Elijah smile as bickering ensues or laughter erupts from his siblings brings a mile to our faces and warms our hearts. We are overwhelmed and blessed by all four of our children, each one an essential part of our home. Sometimes, some days are sweeter than others, a little easier to get through. The hard days, the cracks can be repaired with love and attention. The color comes from each individual person in our family and those that flitter through. I would not and honest if I didnt mention that parts of tonight brought a tear to my eye. The thought that this may be the last thanksgiving, christmas we get to have all four of our amazing children with us. These moments pass with the present reminding us that this is hat we have, today. Each day is miracle, a gift. Thank you for loving our gift Elijah with us he is a main part of this home and the memories we make will last a lifetime.
