Elizabeth Police are investigating a hit-run incident at Salisbury North yesterday and are looking for the car involved. At about 2.30pm, Tuesday 8 April, a pedestrian walking on Whites Road, Salisbury North had a verbal altercation with the driver of a black Ford Falcon XR6 sedan. Minutes later, the Ford collided with the pedestrian as he walked along the footpath of Hume Street. The vehicle then left the scene. The pedestrian was conveyed to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police are seeking the assistance of the public to help locate the vehicle, a black Ford Falcon XR6 sedan, with Victorian registration ZYF095.
