Ella Fitzgerald - (My Funny Valentine) Its crazy how a song can bring you back to a certain day and time. It was a rainy day and I was driving around with my dad. I had been tracing the trajectory of a rain drop that had fallen on my city streaked window when this song came on. I was waiting for him to get mad at me for putting my tiny little finger all over his windows when all of a sudden I hear him humming to the song. So I turned to follow the sweet sound of his voice and there he was just smiling at me. I returned the smile and I remember thinking in that moment... Even rainy days can be beautiful . They are what you make of them. Thanks for the memory dad. I love you and I wish you had a Facebook. Love Allie
