Ella and Donna, the sisters saved by us from the city pound of Komló, Hungary. After three weeks of quarantine they have got their vaccination against rabies and anthelmintics on 19th September.After these traveled to a temporary place in Székesfehérvár, Hungary. Shortly after our arrival there Donna feels very badly and during defecation she had a bloody stool. We had promptly taken our car and urgently traveled with both of the dogs to the veterinary clinic to Székesfehérvár. After a medical examination Donna has got immediatly an infusion treatment. At that time we believed in her recovery, that there is still any hope, and she will be healthy again. The vet has made a parvo test for both of the puppies, we were anxious very much until getting the results. Both of test were unfortunately positive.Then the saddest moment came, when we needed to make the decision about Donna. After a long thinking about, speculation and a long consultation with vet we opted for the euthanasia. Donna was unfortunately not more in a salvable condition. On the other hand Ella has received a chance for life, her medical treatment started yesterday. She is on a temporary place in Székesfehérvár while her treatment, who undertook to go with her to the vet every day while her 5 days long injection cure. We keep our fingers crossed for her to overcome this insidious disease and wish her a good new owner to come after her tough periode!
