Elo. Lived here for a year now. Love my house. Last night, I drove my son up the road to get the grand Percy Special from Yolo. Before we could reach our 800m mark, we passed an ambulance outside and just up from where Dollar Table used to be. On the corner of Buzz 9 and opposite, 5 middle aged men were standing in the road, talking. Talking stuff, like they own the road. The security guards, drunk and high, still willing to get you what you need, had to be gently encouraged to move from the middle of the road - lighting cigarettes or joints. My son asked why the drug dealers werent arrested by the security companies and I tried to explain that that was not what they were employed for. Passed a car that was put together in a hurry, and tried not to make eye contact with the driver - a young gun, maybe twenty, not from the burbs. I dont know what to say anymore. I dont want to offend, and I dont want to misrepresent myself and my soulness, but guys. To get this place back, we will need more than a website for the middle-classes. Well need to Occupy. Just saying what my eyes see and my self feels.
