Email to Helen Jones Warrington MP just off in the ethers of WWW land Dear Mrs Jones, Thank you for your prompt reply to what has become a very pressing issue as the present governement now seem to be in the process of changing trespass laws amongst other things, to enable them to push through their agendas for the countries future energy plans as fast as possible and with disregard to the potential environmental and human damage these types of industries cause. I am against the entire process of UGEE (unconventional gas EXPLORATION and extraction) on the mainland of the United Kingdom. I feel it disingenuous in the extreme for politicians to focus on one narrow sphere of this wide ragingly destructive, ecocidal and damaging industry. My total mistrust of the Dof E, the government in general and this industry goes far beyond their flawed and captured research, and they seem to be IMMUNE from prosecution which sets a precedent in this country for neo liberal corporate agendas to be rolled out in the rush for another boom, which will surely be followed by a long drawn out, toxic and carcinogenic bust. In my personal endeavours to inform the general public of Warrington, of what is happening in relation to this matter, a small group of local residences have joined together to form the Anti Fracking Warrington group. We would like to request a meeting to present our case in the hope you will support us and many local, inter-regional and countrywide groups currently campaigning against Fracking and all UGEE.
