Emails being blocked by Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, and MSN A - TopicsExpress

Emails being blocked by Yahoo, Gmail, Hotmail, and MSN A change to Yahoo’s email DMARC policy over the weekend of April 5th has resulted in numerous emails being rejected. Yahoo’s policy change is affecting many email service providers around the world and is not limited to Corelogic. The policy change is causing emails that purport to originate from Yahoo’s domain but actually originate from an IP address belonging to someone else (such as Corelogic) to be rejected. Emails sent from MLXchange and Fusion that use a personal email address (e.g., jsmith@yahoo) as the “FROM” email address are likely to be rejected. CoreLogic has submitted a request to Yahoo to have CoreLogic email servers whitelisted so they can bypass this policy. It is important to understand, however, that services such as Yahoo, Gmail, and Hotmail will continue to adjust their email policies to reduce the number of spoofed emails. Please refer to the following article explaining the change: news.techworld/security/3510894/yahoo-email-anti-spoofing-policy-breaks-mailing-lists/ As an immediate workaround, users are advised to change their Personal Email Address in the MLS system to something other than a Yahoo, Hotmail, or Gmail email address. This change may help alleviate email delivery issues. We will continue to investigate solutions and provide updates as soon as possible.
