Embrace God’s purpose Everybody on the surface of the earth has got certain answers in his/her destiny womb that God anointed him/her to bring to bear on the earth. Life is not measured by number of years, it is measured by impact. Real living means discovering and pursuing the plans and purpose of God for our lives. Every known figure in the pages of the Holy Scripture became popular as a result of their responses to the plans and purposes of God by faith. Faith is the response of man to the request of God for destiny. Jesus made such an indelible impact on the sand of time within three and a half years which many can never make in hundred years of living. My friend, life is short and death is almost sure, what will matter after now will be what is done for the Lord. Getting saved is the enrolment into the school of destiny; some people drop out while others might miss direction along the way. This means that not everybody enlisted will finish with a divine certificate of completion. That is the more reason why all of us must understand what the purpose of God is and embrace it. Life is not just what I can grab while I am alive in terms of material possession or position, it is about what I can give in terms of donation to humanity. A minister of God shared of how an eminently rich man suddenly died in a hospital after a short illness. He said he watched how this man was roughly packaged into the back of a ‘danfo’ bus just because an ambulance delayed in coming. This strikingly rich man who had so much money and many cars ended up meanly at the back of a ‘danfo’ bus. What futility of life! Despite his riches, he ended up as if he had nothing, and some people who knew nothing about his toil will inherit the vast riches. Jesus in answering Pilate in John 19:37 (KJV) says: “To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.” Think about this and take out time to pray about the purpose of God for your life so that the coming year can be heaven on earth for you. You will embrace God’s purpose for you and become all that God ordained you to be in Jesus name. Amen. Have a purpose driven week. Samuel writes.
