Emily had orientation today and got to see some of the staff as well as her teacher. She literally hung off of Mr. James leg. He is the special education teacher. She is super excited for school. Talking with that 3 year old this morning really put things into perspective for me. I dont usually have a chance to be around other 3 year olds, so for me Emily is normal, but now I can imagine how far behind she is. We have a lot of hard work ahead and her appointment with the Marcus Center is next month so well hopefully get some answers about whats going on with her. If they try telling me shes just developmentally delayed in general, I might lose it, so we better get some answers!
