Emotional day. Pupil age 24 had a serious crash when she was learning aged 17. Broke both legs and 4 ribs when a bin lorry cut in front of her. She suffers now from what appears to be PTSD. Going past any large vehicle has taken a lot of practice and patience from both her and myself. Out on test today Sods law states that a bin lorry does exactly the same again. This time she carried out a real time emergency stop very controlled and very successfully. She then took a deep breath and carried on the drive. Got back with a clean sheet and a very impressed examiner who still doesnt know her experience all those years ago!! First time ever Ive had a tear in my eye for a pass!! Well deserved.
