Employees Held at Gunpoint During Robbery High Point Enterprise (08/05/13) Davis, Chanel Police in High Point, N.C., are looking for at least two men who are believed to have attempted to rob an Ace Cash Express location in the city on Monday. The robbery began shortly after 8:30 a.m., when one of the suspects followed an Ace Cash Express employee into the building. Armed with a gun, the suspect reportedly forced his way into the payday loan and cash advance store and attempted to get the employee to open the safe. The Ace employee was unable to open the safe. The robber then moved into the front lobby of the neighboring Hix Insurance location. No money was taken from either Ace Cash Express or Hix Insurance, and no injuries were reported. Police say that they are looking for two suspects who fled the scene on foot and possibly a third person who served as a lookout while the attempted robbery was taking place.
