So much sadness in the airwaves these days. Theres a tribe somewhere out in the rainforest, and they only play happy sounding music. They believe it soothes the spirits of the forest, which in turn gives to them everything they need to thrive. If only popular music was more uplifting, but its all about the culture\profits at the end of the day. I do believe were moving into a more postive state as a whole though. This state were in is over compressed and chaotic...everything is being manipulated and squashed. Im an optimist though, everywhere I look I can find diamonds in the rough. Cracks in the facade. Slivers of light peeking through from the other side. And thats about all the energy Ill expend on the state of pop music for the day. Cause really, I dont give a care about whats popular or not.
