JESUS, HEALER John 5:5-6 (NIV) “ (At the pool in Bethesda) One who was there had been an invalid for thirty-eight years. When Jesus saw him lying there and learned that he had been in this condition for a long time, he asked him, “Do you want to get well?” Pause: How long have you possibly struggled with something you felt burdened with? The difficulties in life wear us down. Being blind, lame and paralyzed is often emotional and/or spiritual. Do you feel unnoticed, ignored, and hopeless? Jesus is the healer, and the real issue is whether or not I’m willing to be healed! If the answer is yes, move toward the healer! Then seek another person to join you in the healing. Praise: Jesus you are so wise and all knowing. You know we are often unwilling to be healed – because then we have to get up and move! Praise you for grace and mercy that goes beyond poor choices and weak attempts. Prayer: Heal me Lord, in the way. Help me go in your strength, not haltingly, but with joy, move out and give me courage, Emotional clarity is needed also to feel what is inside. Show me what holds me back from accepting your deep healing!
