Empowered To Conquer Perfect, The Word That Makes the Devil Scream Matthew 5:48: Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect. Now before you go and hit the panic button to delete this message please take a few minutes and read the conclusion of the matter. Here is a word the many people shy away from, a word that brings much confusion to the table, a word that makes even the devil scream. I know in time past and present you hear many people including preachers saying that nobody is perfect. However, there has been very little talk about what perfection really means. The enemy wants us to totally stay in the dark about how powerful this word is and the amazing effect it can have upon our lives. Let us refer back to the Scripture in Matthew 5:48; and see what did Jesus really mean when He made this statement. (Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect.) Wow! Here Jesus made a powerful statement, telling the believers to be perfect and not only just to be perfect but to be just like the Father, which is in heaven. Look at the standard of life the Savior is calling upon our hearts to maintain. He has given us a standard to line our lives up with the Word of God instead of trying to be like everybody else. Hum, something to think about. Now before you begin to allow the mind to fight against the Word lets first find out the definition of the word Perfect according to Christ command. Perfect - (to be complete, to mature, to grow up, to conform to a standard or pattern). Now we have it, Jesus is saying Percy, be ye therefore complete, learn to grow up and not stay a babe all your Christian life. Percy learn to conform to God’s standard or way of living, begin to become mature or walk in maturity so you can help others become strong. In other words beloveth, how can babes teach babes or how can the blind lead the blind, somebody must grow up and become mature {Perfect} become complete {Perfect} become strong {Perfect} in order for others to see so they can become mature themselves. II Corinthians 5:17; says: Therefore, if any man {person} be in Christ, that person is a new creature; old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. This means when you give your life to the Lord you become a new person in Christ, and your old lifestyle begins to go away and you begin to walk in the newness of life. Somebody should know by your actions (your lifestyle) that you are born again. Now this is why the devil hates and screams at this word because the day you begin to understand and utilize the power of its work in your life then the Devil can’t control you anymore for his purpose. That is why the enemy does not want anyone talking about the word Perfect because when you begin to grow in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, your life will begin the process of growth that will produce power to live a life of victory and peace. To say that I will never be perfect is like saying I will never be complete, I will never grow up, I will never be mature, or I will never overcome my weakness and failures. See how the enemy has fooled us into saying what we will never be so he can keep us down. The Word says in Proverbs 18:21; Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof. Again beloveth, we become what we speak, if we continue to speak defeat then we shall live in defeat but if we begin to speak victory then our freedom will come. Beloveth, I want to encourage you to stand strong and remember that the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy but Jesus comes that you may have life, so choose life and look up and life. Stop saying what you will never be, learn what God has in store for you and with all thy getting, make sure your get the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Remember beloveth, the Devil do not want you to walk in victory, he do not want you to enjoy freedom in Christ. Satan does not want your lifestyle being positive for Jesus because if you walk in victory then others who are bound will want what you have. They will begin to know that Jesus is a habit breaker, a miracle worker, a healer of broken hearts and a life of joy. Now as I close on today let me instill some questions to think about, How long have you been save? Do your life really line up with the Word? Can your friends, families, and strangers really see Christ in your life? Will your lifestyle inspire others to give themselves to Jesus? In addition, if you were call to the heavenly courts will there be enough evidence to convict you as a Christian or dismiss you as a Sinner? Beloveth, these are some questions all of us should consider that we might fine tune our hearts for Jesus and stop making excuses for our sins. The next time you hear the word Perfect, remember what the word is truly talking about and walk therein. If you believe the Word of God then you will also know that Jesus would never tell us to do something that cannot be done. Beloveth, that would make His word of no value; We know that the Word of God is truth and is powerful in every way. However, we must have faith to live this life and be obedient to the Scriptures so God’s power can flow through us. I Corinthians 10: 13; says: So far you have faced no Trials, that is not common to all mankind, God will not fail you, God is faithful to His promises, and He will not let you be tempted beyond your strength, He will see to it that every temptation has a way out, so that you can come through it victoriously. Amen! See beloveth, we have no excuse; we must stop allowing the enemy to have control over our lives. Many of us are going through hard times because we are trying to do it our way and not God’s way. We have join in with the crowd who cry out that nobody is Perfect, meaning (no body is trying to live in a complete, mature and righteous way) so why should I try to hold on to the Word when I see nobody else doing what is right. Why should I keep my body a living sacrifice unto God when nobody else is doing it? There is so much sin in the Church from the pulpit down and there is a worldly party going on in the church like never before. So why should I miss the fun and give up my fleshly ways when I see nobody else doing it. Well, remember, everyone will stand in the judgment before God and we will have to give an account for our rebellious actions. But also remember this that Hell is to hot and eternity is too long to be regretting and wishing we had another chance to make it right. Let us begin our fight against the Devil, bring him to an open shame, and expose his works from our lives. Too many others are crying out for help and we need to get it right so that we can teach them the truth. Remember what Paul said: said in I Cor 13:11; When I was a child, I spoke as a child; I understood as a child, I thought as a child; but when I became a man, I put away childish things. Now let me say it like this; when I was a babe in Christ, I acted immature or carnal, I did many sinful things because of my weakness, but there was a reason because I was a newborn babe in Christ. Nevertheless, when I study and heard the Word of God and begin to apply those principals to my life I begin to grow on move on to {maturity or completeness} When I begin to mature I stop walking in carnality or stop doing the sin business. Thank you Lord for teaching us the way! Beloveth you have just been empowered now go forth and conquer your day! Percy L Craine Message With Love International Making A Difference
