Encounter at Handwara, 1 militant killed (Shabir Ibn Yusuf) Lastupdate at : Mon, 10 Mar 2014 Srinagar(G.K): An encounter between militants and forces has started in north Kashmir’s Handwara, reports said. One militant has so far been killed in the gun-battle while one soldier has also been injured, they said. The gunfight is on at Malikpora, the reports added. Police said on a specific information regarding presence of militants, a cordon and search operation was launched at Malikpora, in the jurisdiction of Police Station Vilgam, Handwara by Police and 6RR.
