Encouragement House update: After speaking with both Robert and Deo over the weekend, spirits at EH are slowly rising. Robert has reported as of Friday that the funds are coming in thanks to the following: AJ Cooper, Andrew French, Kate Jarvie, Alexandra Fuller, Helena Hu, Robbie Williamson, Gabrielle Brown, Bec Eldridge and Paige Burton has started a crowd funding link and as of Friday was over $900.00. We are still a few thousand short but with 22 days left in September we are confident of hitting the $10k target. Here is an email from Maun Deo after I spoke with him last Friday night about all the effort you guys out there are doing to help the kids at EH....... Thank You Maun Clint, This is really a good news to tell to our EH kids in this weekend. I always talk with them and ask them to be patient because life is always facing the unexpected situation like this. I compare with Our country Timor Leste after 4 years Independence from 2002 we were facing the crisis which happened in 2006 and there is fire destroying many houses in Dili but with the new spirit to stand up again among the Timorese now Timor Leste is better than before. So I think that this is what exactly happening to EH and now EH facing the crisis and we will not surrender. With the support from our Friends in Australia we have the new spirit to stand up again and we will keep this big lesson in our plan for the future.
