Enders Game: As long as you realize that this is a movie, a wholly different entity from the book, and concede that books need be somewhat different from their movie counterparts, youre in for a treat. Extremely well filmed, paced, and acted by all parties involved. There were hints of the classic Harrison Ford over seriousness, but thats part of his charm. Asa Butterfield played Ended as perfectly as a film adapted Ender could be, and the rest of the children also put forth good performances, but Butterfield was a good strong lead. While Id have enjoyed seeing the political antics between Ender and Valentine, I understand why it was cut. Already clocking in at a full two hours, the film is as long as it should. Beautiful visuals, faithful to the ethos of the book, and great acting make this a must-see. 8/10 child warriors.
