Energy: Affect and Effect When I was first aware That I had the ability To share God’s great gift Of His everlasting energy, I really didn’t understand To what degree I, as His conduit, Would affect the lives Of so many. We too often live our lives With a false sense of control And a constant fear That we hide deep within Our souls. When we can finally Begin to let go And accept the world, The universe, And our spirituality, For what it is We begin to perceive ourselves As ‘angels’ of the gift Of health and happiness. Our lives begin to hold A special meaning, An inter-connectedness with the Universe and all that’s in it. And, by being positive inter-actionists We begin to understand how We alone can share our Help in healing or helping others In ways we thought were Mumbo jumbo crazy just a few years ago. And, if we take the time to give of ourselves And offer these God-based sources of Aliveness to others in need We can actually effect positive changes In the lives of so many. First, though We have to be solid and well grounded ourselves. We grow stronger with the ability To pass on this ‘healing empathy’ In ways we never thought possible. Further, we seem to be coming together As a hand-picked few Who are not necessarily physically healthy Or perfect in our own lives Here on this Earth. And yet, here we are At the junction Where life and love Become our essence; That quest to understand What we will be When we grow up! ©2012mlc
