English club Manchester City are on the prowl once again, this time linked to Real Madrid’s defender Pepe, according to English newspaper Metro. City, who have already spent £100 million this transfer window, are looking to add even more to their current squad, according to the report. City will look to add the Portuguese international to the squad to pair with Vincent Kompany in the defense according to the report. The Citizens have already splashed the cash on their attacking options this summer, capturing the likes of midfielder Fernandinho from Shakhtar Donetsk, winger Jesus Navas from Sevilla, as well as strikers Stevan Jovetic from Serie A side Fiorentina and Alvaro Negredo, who played for La Liga side Sevilla, linking up with Jesus Navas. Pepe’s departure from the Bernabeu would mark the second Real Madrid defender to leave the Spanish giants this summer, as Napoli captured Raul Albiol from the Spanish giants in a £12 million switch earlier today.
