(English ver. is below) 皆さんお元気ですか。私たちは元気でフィリピン研修を続けています。先々週一週間、モンタルバンの修道会の施設でのボランティアをしたあと、先週は、マニラ近郊のケソン市に移り、Radio Veritas Fondacioという、神学校等もある研修施設で、アジア各地の教会から来た研修生と共同生活をしていました。部屋は家具が数個と扇風機、風呂は水浴び、洗濯は手洗い、トイレも…と、生活はシンプルなものですが、２０−３０代の研修生たちの熱気が充満しています。一人はベトナムのお医者さんでした。今週は、この施設から、ジプニーという乗り合いバスで1時間ほどにある、イエズス会系のアテネオ大学のEAPI(East Asian Pastoral Institute)という神学部みたいなところの講義に通い、New Evangelization after Vatican 2nd Council(第二バチカン公会議後の新福音化について)を勉強しました。生徒のほとんどは神父様やシスターで、主にアジア・アフリカの、２３ヶ国から来ているそうです。大学内は、今までいたところや、寮とはうってかわって、プールやテニスコートもあり、購買にはi storeが入っていたりして豪華です。フィリピンの貧富の差の激しさを感じました。他の生徒さんの話からは、それぞれの国で、教会やミッショナリーが多いところも、少ないところも、危険なところも、いろいろあるとわかりました。生徒の一人、パキスタン人の神父様で私たちのミサを担当してくださった方は、自分の教区の教会の小学校がイスラム教徒の人の焼き討ちにあっているそうで、多宗教の和解と恊働のために、会議をしたり新聞を出している、と、新聞をくれました。今週日曜日にお国にかえるそうなので、今後の対話の働きの無事を祈っています。 今週一週間は、低額旅行をするという課題があるので、マニラから７０kmほどの所にあるバターン半島の町バランガの史跡を、路線バスで訪ねます。バターン死の行進で有名なところです。出会った現地の人の話をきちんと聞く機会が与えられるといいなと思っています。また、連絡しますね。 Hello. 2 weeks ago, we finished our volunteer exposure in Montalban SMSF center. Last week, we stayed in Radio Veritas Fondacio in Quezon City, Philippines. This institute provides programs for Training of young Asian Lay-missionary leaders. We lived in a dormitory with students from many Asian countries, shared daily prayer and suppers, and enjoyed simple life there. We joined the class of EAPI(East Asian Pastoral Institute) in Ateneo University, which has its root in Jesuit seminary. Last week we learned “The New Evangelization after the Vatican 2nd Council”. Most of students are missionary who come from, mainly, 23 Asian & African Countries. The compound of the university was very clean. I was surprised when I found a pool, tennis courts, even an i store there. I felt the severe gap between the rich and the poor. Talking with other students, I understood man countries have many situations for Christians. In some countries they are majority, in some, they are minority and even in the dangerous situation. I hope the church keep dialogues and builds up peace with its neighbours This week, we will visit Balanga, Bataan Peninsula, in the training of the limited- budget trip. I hope we can encounter someone and have dialogue about the history and present.
