Enjoying a double shot vanilla cappucino with my amazing husband...Happy, Happy, Happy!!! After many setbacks & obstacles to overcome, today is finally the day! The hubby & I just walked out of court & finished finalizing Katherines adoption & it is a done deal. I can clearly remember the very first day that Katherine met Jose. He had followed me to my moms house & I had told my mom not to let Katherine come outside, cause Jose & I were going to be out there talking for a bit & @ this point it wasnt serious enough to introduce Katherine to him. Well, by the time I knew it she was outside running circles around Jose, showing him her toys. She bombarded him with an array of questions & the very last one was, Are you my mommys boyfriend?, he responded, Yes & as quickly as she came out she was gone. When I went inside my mother and I were talking and I was telling my mom that Jose was a great guy & Katherine pops her little head in the room & tells me, Well, marry him mom. Marry him?, I responded, You dont even know him. She then told me, Mom, I loved him the moment I saw him. & that has been the case till this very day!! She loves her daddy & even though he has been a daddy to her since the first day he walked into her life, today he is legally her daddy! Now Kat is going to be a Gonzalez like the rest of our little family. Jose & I have been waiting for this day for a very, very long time & now its finally here!! & the sweetest part is going to be taking her out to dinner tonight & giving her the wonderful news!! She is going to be super excited!! Thank you sweet Jesus for all the blessings you bestow upon my family and I, we are forever indebted....keep them coming Lord, please keep them blessings coming.
