Enjoying my coffee this morning for the first time in days. A little down time for me as I try to build up enough courage to start on tearing down the wedding and reception sight for Michelle Ogden Patrick and Brian Patrick wedding yesterday. The big day started out like any other day here on the farm... Cows broke a gate open and out they go. From there on, the day got better (hydraulic hose busted on tractor as Josh Ogden was trying to get my hay off the parking area) But it fit in anyway. Sure people thought it was there in windrows as part of the decor not knowing it has rained on it all week. Missed hair appointment with Rachel Carder and put Miss Michelle in a tizzy on her wedding day (Sorry bout that). But, when the celebrating was over, the hay loaded back on the wagon (thanks, guys,) chairs and tables back in their place, food put away, and I finally closed the world out about 2 a.m., I sat down briefly and looked back over their wedding day. It was perfect for the happy couple. That was what we all worked so hard for. Thank you to all that made this happen, and especially her siblings.. Marsha Jenkins Meers, Connie Ogden Kersey, Gwen Patterson, Josh Ogden (my little cowpolk) and Amber Ogden. Yes Gwen, now I believe you when you say weve got this And did you ever. You all cant believe what I am feeling inside today. Love you bunches!
