Enough is enough For too long Gibeon are just laying idling with Sewerage water formed rivers Inaccurate accounts Late accounts Cutting of services been paid in cash Cars been use as if private property with no log books or proper control at all No capital projects been executed No tender boards/unknown tender board/ghost tender board No transparency No accountability No public meetings Financial mismanagement Incapable Councilors Maladministration No proper stock control Unavailability of Public information Misused of S&T Councilors only interested in self-enrichment rather than serving the electorate [Fishing Rights are been applied for] We are sick and tired These are issues we the residents of Gibeon are facing on a daily basis and nothing is been done by the responsible supervisory authorities. We cannot allow the Ministry to bail out the council at the cost of our development. We need our capital projects to execute. We want development, we want Gibeon to be proclaimed as a town and with the present leadership in Gibeon we will not be able to be part of Vision 2030. There are so many political leadership from Hardap region in the parliament and the national council but they are quiet on these issues. Why? Are political positions more important than your community development? What is the purpose of you being there? If it is the case than come out and say it loud so that we can make our decisions on electing our leadership or rather not register at all. Constitutional right of access of information are been violated Gibeon is the most neglected village in Namibia when it comes to development just because of poor leadership and no political supervision. We need answers N. J. Dawson [Gibeon Community Activist]
