Entirely grateful to say that I have been blessed with an opportunity to yet again live my dream as a professional basketball player. I was struck down with a bad salmonella bacteria a few months ago (always cook your eggs lol), that in turn caused a cross-inflammation of my joints, an auto-immune disease called poly-reactive arthritis. It was so bad that I could barely put any weight on my legs. I was hospitalized for eight days; put on a steroid treatment plan, which caused me to lose 30 pounds, and was (unfairly) let go from my brothers in arms, only a month before the end of season. But things happen for a reason. I have focused entirely on coming back with a vengeance, and I’ve used this entire situation as a motivational tool. I have signed a contract for next season for an incredible team and I will be announcing it on my fan page, Andreas Schreiber at the end of the week.
