Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Programmes in Tamil Nadu National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (NIMSME) Hyderabad, [An autonomous arm of the Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSME)], concluded Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Programmes(ESDPs) in various districts of Tamil Nadu in coordination with Pondicherry Multipurpose Social Service Society in the month of December 2014. A total of 570 youth and women benefitted from these training programmes. The main training modules of these ESDPs were: - Cosmetology and Beautician. - AC, Refrigerator and Water Cooler Repair. - Mobile Repair. - Artificial Jewelry. - Computer Accounting with Tally and DTP. Entrepreneurship & Skill Development Programmes(ESDPs) are being organized regularly by various organisations under the Ministry of MSME. The primary objective is to nurture the talent of youth towards self employment by enlightening them on various aspects of setting up a business and providing them skill development training in relevant areas. Entrepreneurship and Skill Development are critical areas for achieving the vision of Make In India & the Ministry of MSME is committed to the promotion of these areas.
