Enugu Rangers have signed up three overseas stars namely Chidi Edeh, Zito Ogbonna and Damian Udeh for the second round of the Nigeria league. MAGIC FM can report authoritatively that while Chidi and Zito are already thrilling supporters of the club with their attacking prowess as was evidenced in a 4-0 thumping of non-league The Lighters Football Academy in a friendly match on Thursday, Udeh only arrived Enugu late that day. Chidi Edeh, who features for Indian top side Kingfisher F.C East Bengal who also have former Enyimba defender Ugah Opara on their books, was a delight to watch as he scored one and set up two other goals converted by Zito Ogbonna, who was until recently with F.K Vardar in Macedonia. The other goal was scored by Super Eagles B attacker, Christian Obiozor, who dribbled his way through a sea of tackling legs to slot home the fourth goal of the day. Other new players for the second round are Hamzat Onwuamenyi who is joining from Akwa United; Chibuzor Madu who is re-joining from Enyimba; Christian Madu from Giwa F.C as well as teenager, Ibe Izuchukwu, who was snapped up from non-league F.C Inter of Enugu. Samuel Agba from Kaduna United has already featured for the Enugu side in the 2-0 win over El-Kanemi Warriors in a Week 20 clash.
