Enviromental signals engage cytoplasmic processes that alter our genetic expression & therefore controls the cells fate, influences cell movement, controls cells survival, & controls a cells death. Signal transduction science recognizes that the fate & behaviour of an organism is directly linked to its perceptions of the enviroment. In other words, the character of our lifes is based upon how we perceive life. Our perceptions of our selfs & the world around us controls our biochemistry, our biochemistry controls our biology. If you can change your perceptions you will change the biochemistry of your body. Epigenetics is the science of how enviromental signals modify, & regulate genetic activity. It reveals that the activity of our genes is constantly being modifed in responce to lifes experiences. Which again emphasizes that our perceptions of life shape our biology.
