Environmental Information Analyst - Environment Agency- Abu Dhabi: Day-to-Day Operations Follow the day-to-day operations set by the Senior Specialist - Environmental Information in the Environmental Information Management division to ensure continuity of work and the delivery of effective and high quality outputs. Report on a regular basis to the Senior Specialist - Environmental Information on the operational activities, challenges and issues faced, mitigations taken, etc. as required to keep them informed and updated on the activities performed. Environmental Information Requests Collaborate with the Electronic Environmental Information Specialist to establish effective mechanisms to receive and respond to environmental information requests, and communicate the same to the relevant internal and external stakeholders in order to ensure all requests are met in a timely and effective manner. Environmental Information Analysis Identify, retrieve and organise required environmental data from the database in order to ensure availability of up-to-date, relevant and valid data for analysis. Identify and deploy analysis tools and techniques in line with the information requests, and conduct environmental analysis on specific environmental areas / topics. Work closely with relevant sectors in order to provide accurate interpretation and conclusions to support effective environmental decision-making. Report Preparation Prepare analysis reports on environmental information as per established formats and standards in order to ensure adequate and clear presentation of findings, interpretations and conclusions. Collaboration Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on matters related to environmental information analysis to facilitate flow of information. Policies, Processes and Procedures Follow all relevant section policies, processes, procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner. Change Management Support the creation of a change management culture through taking a ‘hands-on’ and ‘can-do’ approach to EAD’s new business changes, participating rapidly to the development of new initiatives, meeting planned targets, and demonstrating preferred high performance behaviours. EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) Comply with all relevant EHS guidelines, policies and procedures, report incidents and hazards in a timely manner, and reduce consumption of natural resources to support in protecting the environment and ensure a healthy and safe work environment. Ad-hoc Requests Perform additional duties commensurate with the current role, as and when requested by the Senior Specialist - Environmental Information.
