Environmental Representative Newark c£28K An excellent career opportunity has arisen to join our global client based in Newark. We are now seeking an Environmental Representative to support the Environmental Compliance Manager in ensuring that environmental obligations are met in terms of legal requirements, customer requirements and the performance expectations. Duties include; • Investigate and respond to customer environmental requests through interrogation of engineering drawings and material data systems. • Support in maintaining the ISO14001 certification, including auditing activities and further development of the Environmental management system • Liaise with all European plants to produce reports on environmental performance. • Develop the Green Procurement Supplier Register • Support in the maintenance and update of environmental specifications. In order to be considered for this role candidates must; • Be educated to HND level or equivalent in an environmental, science or engineering discipline. • Have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills and the ability to analyse and make logical decisions in a calm and professional manner. • Intermediate working knowledge of the Microsoft Suite, particularly Excel. • Have an understanding and appreciation of the ISO14001 Environmental standards and experience in the environmental sector. Experience of the manufacturing industry would be advantageous.
