Environmental Water Project Officer Jo Wood recorded this Sloanes Froglet at Moodies Swamp near Katamatite this morning. Its call is the “chick chick chick chick” in amongst the calls of the Spotted Marsh Frogs and Plains Froglets. Sloanes Froglets call from July to November – trying to impress a mate. They can be up to 3cm long with a light grey & green body with dark patches and a white stripe from the eye to the front leg.
