Eph 2:19 Therefore you are no longer outsiders (exiles, migrants, and aliens, excluded from the rights of citizens), but you now share citizenship with the saints (Gods own people, consecrated and set apart for Himself); and you belong to Gods [own] household. Eph 2:20 You are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets with Christ Jesus Himself the chief Cornerstone. Eph 2:21 In Him the whole structure is joined (bound, welded) together harmoniously, and it continues to rise (grow, increase) into a holy temple in the Lord [a sanctuary dedicated, consecrated, and sacred to the presence of the Lord]. It was never meant for the Pastor, Deacon Board, evangelist, etc to guide the church and set it on the foundation of Jesus Christ finished work and no wonder the church appears to have lost its sense of direction, (when the will of God is not known, then abuse is inevitable), that is not to say that this was done on purpose, but if we look at the scriptures, we see that the Revelation and Wisdom of God to set the Apostolic Foundation for the church to build on has been given to the Office of the Apostle and The Office of the Prophet. It is the Humility and Obedience of these Ministry Gifts that the Holy Spirit is imparting the Authority and Visionary Leadership to Bring the Body of Christ into the Unity of the Faith worldwide, just before Jesus return. This is a unique anointing, it is bestowed upon a person by the Holy Spirit, you cannot just put your name and title on a business card and say that you are an Apostle or Prophet. Through humility and obedience, The Apostle will receive revelation and unusual authority. It is my belief that the enemy will do everything in his power to try to hinder the roles and binding of these two ministry gifts. It is up to the visionary leaders that are called to these positions in the church to overcome shallow petty differences and shortcomings and stand up on the front line and say Yes Lord I will Go Send Me. Glory to God.
