Founded in 1929 on the initiative of Marshal Joseph Pilsudski as the central institution of physical education in 1938 received the status of the Academy. Today the Academy is the base for many types of combat and combat sports. In its many spacious rooms are classes in aikido judo Brazilian jiu-jitsu karate and Vale Tudo. By the way here is the head of the Academy in the hall of one of the biggest clubs in Poland Kyokushin karate. In November 1993 he was visited by the founder of Kyokushin Karate Sosai Mas Oyama who flew to Poland on the occasion of World Cup in Katowice.
