Episode Recap – 8/13/14 (contains spoilers from todays show) Wyatt shows Hope the diamond and talks about what it means to them. He asks her to look deeply into the diamond and see what it can do for them. He asks her to marry him again. Hope doesn’t answer and Wyatt tells her the captain can do it and rock and roll. Hope doesn’t answer. Liam looks out the window at the hotel he’s checked into. Ivy comes in and Liam thanks her for hanging around and she jokes it’s a huge sacrifice hanging out with a handsome man in paradise. Liam walks away. Liam tells Ivy he tried calling hope from a land line and still no luck. Ivy believes they’ll straighten this out and Liam says – he pictures Hope standing there waiting and waiting. Ivy says he would have made it if she didn’t get pushed into the river. Liam says – Hope is thinking if I don’t show up – it’s over. Ivy tells Liam he was there. Liam says – but, Hope doesn’t think that. He says – I’ve got to find her – that’s it, I have to find her. Deacon walks in to Brooke’s office and says he got a text from Wyatt telling him that Hope and him are moving on. Brooke wants to know what that means. Deacon says it sounds like to him that the big blue rock did it’s trick and that Hope is going to leave Liam – she’s moving on. Ivy says maybe Hope went to International and Liam says he called – and neither is Wyatt. Ivy asks Liam if he thinks Hope is with Wyatt and Liam says – Rick does. Ivy says she’s sorry and takes the blame and Liam tells her there was nothing she could do. He wonders why Hope is not answering her phone. In Monte Carlo, Hope still doesn’t say anything and Wyatt tells Hope that Liam sent her a message loud and clear when he was a no-show and Wyatt is sending her a message of his own – with no pain attached. He says – I want a life with you, a partnership with no conditions – marry me in this very moment – right here. Hope sighs and doesn’t answer. The captain of the ship calls Bill and talks about Wyatt requesting the boat for a week and Bill knows about it. The captain tells him that Wyatt is with Miss Logan and asked him to perform some services. Bill asks what kind of services. The captain tells Bill – their wedding. Bill sighs. Hope finally says to Wyatt – you want me to marry you? Today? Where? He tells her here – this is a floating chapel and it’s appropriate. Hope says – appropriate? Wyatt brings up Paris and the reception they received there. Hope says – you mean the rejection I received? Wyatt says – no, it was your message and my love to you. He says – don’t you see how right this is for us? He tells her that even Liam sees it – that’s why he didn’t show up. Wyatt asks her if she’s tired of the ups and downs, all the pain and disappointment. I can take that away from you. You know I can. This is our moment. You can escape all that and embark on a future. I can promise you, I will not disappoint you. All you have to say is one word and we start our life together. Hope looks down then looks up at Wyatt and says – yes. Wyatt hugs her and Hope hugs him back, smiles – then stops, then smiles again. Deacon tells Brooke he doesn’t like the look on her face and it wouldn’t be there if he was around more. Brooke just wants Hope to call. Deacon tells her to relax. The phone rings and she looks at it and Deacon says – let me guess, Spencer. Don’t answer. She picks up the phone and Bill tells her – he has news she’s going to want to hear – he’s coming over. She tells him not to – she’s in the middle of something – to just tell her. He says – my son and your daughter are getting married. Brooke says – whaty? Hope and Liam? That’s wonderful. Bill says – Wyatt and Hope – they’re on my yacht in Monte Carlo. Brooke is stunned. He says – this is going to be very difficult for Liam but, this is life – there has got to be a winner and a loser. Liam will have to find someone else. Liam paces and asks where she would go – it’s been hours. Liam wonders about her being with Wyatt and Ivy tells him that Hope will call you back – you’ve left her messages everywhere. Wyatt waits on deck for Hope. The captain goes to Wyatt with the first mate – who purchased the dress that Wyatt requested. He will be the witness. Music starts playing as Hope comes up. She starts walking towards Wyatt. She reaches him and he kisses her hand. Brooke seems upset about the news and Deacon tells Brooke that Wyatt is a great kid. Deacon brings up the diamond and that Hope and Wyatt will be great together. Brooke asks Deacon how he knows. Deacon says – because she’s our daughter and has a great head on her shoulders. He says – Wyatt is slick but, he loves her and you don’t give someone a two-ton rock if you’re not crazy about her. He tells Brooke that Wyatt will treat Hope well – just like he’d treat her. Brooke walks away. Deacon says to listen to him and tells Brooke that together they made the most beautiful thing in his life. He tells Brooke that he can be the guy she’s proud of – completely committed and always loyal to her. He tells Brooke their daughter is married now and wouldn’t it be great if she came home and saw her parents together. Deacon says – maybe I’m getting ahead of myself but, I can dream and I do dream. I’ve been dreaming about you for a very long time. Liam tells Rick on the phone that he has to talk to her. Ivy says – she hasn’t shown up at International? Liam says – and neither has Wyatt. Ivy says – well they are together but, Hope has been resisting Wyatt since he’s tried to give her the diamond. Liam says – but, now he has the ammunition – I didn’t show up – I blew her off because that’s how it’s going to look. Liam paces and says – I have to find her – I have to find her. Ivy says – okay, well then let’s go. Liam agrees but, the phone rings before he can leave the room. The captain starts the ceremony and Hope tells Wyatt that it is beautiful and he thought of everything. The captain talks about getting up in the morning and he had no idea what his day would hold and then he got the call expressing that there would be a marriage on this ship and my day changed tremendously. He talks about the beautiful setting. He tells them this will live long in their memory. The captain asks Wyatt if he has words for his bride to be. Wyatt says – Wow. Liam races back to the phone and picks it up. It’s Bill. He tells him he got the number from the Paris office. Liam tells him they were just about to head out and Bill asks – we? Liam tells him he’s with Ivy and they’re going to go look for Hope. Bill tells Liam that Hope’s not in Paris. She’s in Monte Carlo on my yacht. She’s with Wyatt. Liam, they’re getting married. Liam says – married? How, when? Bill says – on my yacht, today. Bill says – I know you’re disappointed son but, in a situation like this – someone was bound to get hurt. Liam says – I got to go, dad and hangs up the phone. Liam tears up and tells Ivy – they’re getting married. He walks away towards the window and looks up and falls against the wall. Wyatt tells Hope – he never thought about marriage before – committing forever – then I met you. He tells her that side by side they can do anything. He tells Hope she brings out the best in him. You always have and you always will. Hope laughs. He talks about her smile and that he wants to bring joy and smiles to her life – that’s his promise to her. Hope says – she can’t believe they’re doing this. She tells Wyatt – from the first day she met him – it was clear that he was impulsive and spontaneous and I was so drawn to you. I love that you push me to do things I wouldn’t normally do and you challenge me to see things in a different way and you make me excited about things I didn’t know I would be excited about. Thank you for letting me see the world through your eyes. You really just take life and you dive in head first. Wyatt says – dive in with me. Hope looks at him and he says he understands – it’s the rest of their lives and it’s big, marriage is a leap of faith – we’re ready. Hope looks at him – touches the diamond and takes it off and hands it to him. She walks away and he follows her. She looks out to the water and Wyatt calls to her. She steps up and then turns and holds out her hand to Wyatt to follow. They dive in the water. The captain and witness come to the edge of the boat and he pronounces them husband and wife and to kiss the bride. Hope and Wyatt laugh and kiss.
