Eric Bana is returning to his comedy roots to star in a new satire directed by Ricky Gervais, reports The Age - theage.au. The Australian actor will portray an arrogant New York radio journalist who decides to fake frontline war reports from the comfort of his Manhattan home in a bid to save his struggling career. British funnyman Gervais will write, direct, produce and co-star in Special Correspondents, a remake of French movie Envoyés très spéciaux – literally, very special envoys – which was released in January 2009.
