Eric Butorac, former TLC camper and Gustavus All American (who lists TLC founder Steve Wilkinson as one of the most influential people in his life, not just tennis), IS IN THE AUSTRALIAN OPEN SEMIFINALS! To get there, he and his partner, Raven Klaasen, JUST BEAT THE BRYAN BROTHERS! The #1 team in the world. Then they followed this with a come-from-behind quarterfinal victory Monday night. Eric is known as one of the great sportsmen on the ATP tour and credits much of this to his dad, Tim - a Gustavus All American himself and TLC Advisory Board member - and to Steve, his mentor. This New York Times article is short and worth reading, not just because of Erics accomplishment, but because of the level of sportsmanship the Bryan Brothers also showed in defeat.
