whats on my mind? The Sabbath. Just reading today in Mathew 24, well recognized to be about the last days. I was struck by v.20 Pray that your flight may not be in winter or on the Sabbath How cool...The earth maybe quaking, buildings and nations falling ...but nothing is more important then your time with God. I had read in Old Test. that the Sabbath was a sign that you belong to God, and He belongs to you! I thought wow, spending time everyday in that Sabbath rest, especially your own appointed quiet time, is a sign that you belong to Him, and He belongs to you!!! It also is a sign of our humility that we need Him. It is so important that we are instructed to pray that nothing disturbs it, not even the end of the world!! Amazing that I have a battle to keep my time with Him, even now....Fight and Preserve your time with God at all cost!!!!
