Eric Farrior 1 min · Heaven is for Real-- A Movie came out recently based on a supposed true story of a young boy having a “near death experience” and supposedly visiting heaven while undergoing surgery- Masses of religious folk are flocking to the theaters to see this. However, as we will see, it is just another denominational false concept based upon false teachings-- #1- When Jesus died, He did not go to heaven- He went to Paradise-And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, To day shalt thou be with me in paradise. (Lk. 23:43) It was only after His resurrection that He “ascended to the Father”- Jesus saith unto her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended to my Father: but go to my brethren, and say unto them, I ascend unto my Father, and your Father; and to my God, and your God. ( Jn. 20:17) If Jesus did not go straight to heaven when He died, why did this young boy go?? #2- David, the famous man of God and King of Israel “has not ascended” to the heavens either- Therefore being a prophet, and knowing that God had sworn with an oath to him, that of the fruit of his loins, according to the flesh, he would raise up Christ to sit on his throne; He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption. This Jesus hath God raised up, whereof we all are witnesses. Therefore being by the right hand of God exalted, and having received of the Father the promise of the Holy Ghost, he hath shed forth this, which ye now see and hear. For David is not ascended into the heavens: but he saith himself, The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, (Acts 2:30-34) Is God a respecter of persons or not?? Acts 10:34 #3- The Lord Himself, the One that this boy supposedly “spoke to” revealed the truth of what happens when a person dies--- There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day: And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores, And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich mans table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores. And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abrahams bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried; And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom. And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame. But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented. And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence. Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my fathers house: For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment. Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them. And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent. And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead. (Lk. 16:19-31) A person goes to hades when they die—either the good side or the bad side- no one goes “straight to heaven” AND there is NO coming back! #4- When a person dies, the spirit returns to God who gave it- Then shall the dust return to the earth as it was: and the spirit shall return unto God who gave it. (Ecc. 12:7) #5- The dead know nothing of what is going on here- For the living know that they shall die: but the dead know not any thing, neither have they any more a reward; for the memory of them is forgotten. (Ecc. 9:5) #6- When a person really dies, their spirit is separated from their body (Jms. 2:26) and from this, there is no coming back---- Lot’s of folks “supposedly die” , and “come back”-- they were dead as the bible defines it--- A heartbeat stopping is not biblical death… This world is full of folks that are sincere--- Folks often “see things” that are in reality nothing more than dreams or hallucinations.. these things cannot be trusted (Prov. 14:12, Jer. 17:9), but God can (Prov. 3:5) We must always believe the bible over what someone “believed they saw” We can be assured of these things by the word of God, we don’t need make believe! Why are folks not satisfied with what the bible actually teaches?? That heaven is just as real as hell is and will last for just as long (cf. Mt. 25:46) That Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven and the only way into Jesus is thru His gospel (Jn. 14:6, Eph. 3:6) and that when a person dies, their fate is sealed and there is no coming back--
