Eric ..... thinking of you pal and just wanted to share this with you and for others that need a little reminder. Love yourself and if you need help of any kind, there are many of us that are here for you! Trust me I so get it ! “Do You” Recently while doing cardio at the gym something remarkable happened while talking with a fellow member. Other then seeing this individual here and there and a courteous hello. We have never really engaged in any conversation. Not only was it noticeable something was bothering this person. You can just feel it. We got on the topic of spirituality and sorts. Explaining & telling me that they felt lost, alone and depressed like many of us can from time to time. After talking for several minutes my question to this person was : Do you love yourself? The question blew them away...... stating nobody has ever asked them that in their entire life and got choked up. I really enjoy people watching, while sitting back and observing from a distance the behaviors & actions of others. Especially in NYC The unique interactions I encounter at times.... are life moments such as these. That give us the ability to see things in a different light Now I am no picnic, constantly working on self improvement. It is a LIFE practice. And it is true there is so much LOVE to give in this world and we give it to others for whether it is for the right or wrong reasons (not our judgement call) BUT....... Then why are we neglecting to love the most important individual in the universe first.......OURSELVES!! We will never find true love & happiness unless we find it in ourselves FIRST!! After our conversation concluded this person hugged & thanked me stating you just changed my LIFE. But in all actuality we changed each others LIFE for the better. So my next question is ...... DO YOU ?
