Erie County is Hiring: #2014-078 FCFC Coordinator, Part Time, for the Family and Children First Council $17.54 - $20.00 Hour D.O.Q. Pay Grade 14 MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Family Studies, or a similar field. Knowledge of agency computer systems (i.e., CRIS-E).Knowledge of typing principles and report writing practices. Services, Client Services program implementation, planning and development. Knowledge of English grammar and composition. Knowledge of social welfare issues. Skills in typing, writing, operating computer systems, public speaking, oral communication, listening and organization. Ability to perform associated clerical duties. Ability to resolve recurring standard problems. Ability to extract information from various sources, collect data and comprehend a wide variety of technical material. Ability to interpret policies and procedures, listen for problems or issues and provide responses or explanations. Ability to maintain accurate records and understand manuals. Ability to coordinate and evaluate client services programs, monitor the work of others and handle contacts from other agencies. Ability to recognize errors in the work of others and interpret technical material. Ability to explain assignments, procedures, situations, and provide training to others. Ability to speak in public and coordinate contacts with outside agencies. Knowledge of federal, state and local laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures related to Client. Ability to organize and facilitate collaborative groups. Erie county resident preferred. Pre-employment physical and drug screen required.
