Eritrea and the imminent danger of civil war: In 2010, the United States Department of State (USDoS) estimated that 50% of the population was Muslim (Sunni) and around 48% was Christian. Since 2010 alone, close to a million people, mostly, the christian Tigrinya, has fled the country and muslims are the dominant majority now. The muslims has always been oppressed by the Tigrinya speaking Hammassiens, who are mostly Christians. What Shabiya (along with TPLF) did on Jebha in the jungle days has aggravated the sentiments. There are reports that Eritrea is slowly but surely falling in to all out civil war. The Arbi Harnet, now active even inside Asmara, is sending a signal about what is to follow. There are clear and imminent dangers on the build. Qatar and other Arab nations are funding immensely for a Caliphate in the Horn where the strategic red sea also exists. Only the fool would remain at ease with this. It would be the Hammassien Shabiyas and nobody else to be blamed, and it is the responsibility of every Eritrean, especially the Kebesatay to prevent such a calamity with greater consequences to the region too. Denial will not help.
