Erratic cable service irks people =>Accusing the district administration Pulwama of ‘inaction’ against the proprietors of cable networking, subscribers of digital cable TV services have been complaining of poor connectivity. People from different parts of Tral town including the residents of Amlar, Poshvan, Brental, Nowpora and Chandrigam claimed that ever since the installation of the digital set-top equipment, cable TV services have been erratic. They demanded stern action against the Star Cable and A.R.Cable Network, the main service providers in the town. The people alleged that they get hefty amounts from the subscribers but their services are always poor. “I am fond of watching Football but on Sunday cable network went out of order as usual and the screen was blank for hours,” Muhammad Altaf form told CNS. The subscribers appealed the district administration to look into the matter. When contacted DC Pulwama, Manzoor Ahmed Lone told CNS that he will look into the matter and would seek explanation from cable operators. (CNS)
