Ethics and social responsibility should be the watchword of every journalist, But there is a Black side of media too.. Corruption in the mass media in small town to big city is as old as the media itself. In recent years, corruption in the Indian media has gone way beyond the corruption of individual journalists and specific media organizations -- from planting information and views in lieu of favours received in cash or kind. If you denied to pay then they can publish any rubbish news against you and can spoil your social as well as personal life. They don’t bother about what will be the impact on that person or that group’s life and work. They just need hard cash or gift from you and only concerned about that. They thought if you are in a reputed post that means you can paid them anything. Which is wrong. Media must know that they can not collapse any person in the world. There are lots of strong and confident person in this word. News is meant to be objective, fair and neutral — this is what sets apart such information and opinion from advertisements that are paid for.
