Shes absolutely beautiful, her voice is impressive at all registers required in this piece, modern, operatic, beautiful singing, period... Beautifully emotional playing from Yehudi Menuhin, as well as orchestra.. The only point I completely and absolutely disagree with is its being sung in English translation. With the translated text, as an English speaking person I can understand the words as far as the operatic singing and the age of the recording allow but I must admit the inner vocal harmony of the original text in terms of language has been lost.
