Europe festival Festivalhunter is your one stop shop for all the information you need on Festivals in Europe. Although the website does have the capacity to cover the world, the initial focus will be on European Music Festivals. The development team has implemented a number of great features and design changes to help make Festivalhunter the only place you need to go for the essential information. Whether you are coming from Brazil, Australia, Canada the US or anywhere else in the world, Festivalhunter will have the tools you need to find out where you want to go and what’s hot in the world of Music Festivals in Europe. So, what’s new with festivalhunter? We have reinvigorated the home page, with a great looking new map. A new logo will come soon. There is now a landing page for new users so they can see what is going on, and an option to disable this if you don’t want to see it every time you come back. We have optimised the website to make it faster so you can get to the information you need about each Festival in Europe faster. We will be launching a new logo soon, and a new header bar and best of all, we are going to look at a better way for users to rate, comment and share information on each festival. The directors of the website are bringing new people in to write about festivals, draw up lists and guides and to provide feedback from the users as to the best way to use the site. There will be a renewed focus on managing the huge number of festivals in our database so that the users can simply and easily find out what they are after. The quality of the content will become the focus in the New Year, we are looking to provide accurate and straightforward information and let the community share the little secrets so your experience will be as easy as possible, and you can just enjoy the Festival. Festivalhunter is always looking for ways to improve its site. The raft of changes we have made are all to benefit the user, we are always looking for new structures and new formats to display our information across the internet. The development team is working on a way for users to submit festivals we haven’t got to yet or places we have missed, we are hoping to have prizes and giveaways for contributors who provide the festival hunting community with great information. People travel far and wide to get to festivals all over Europe. The ‘Get There’ feature, which is an API developed by Rome2Rio lets you compare flight, bus, car, train and ferry routes and combinations to get from anywhere, to anywhere. In the near future, festivalhunter is looking at developing a favourites list users can carry onto the ‘Get There’ page. This will allow John, from Uluru in Australia to find the best way to get to Tomorrowland, Open’r, PinkPop, Sensation White and then home again (and he will know what order to do it in as he uses festivalhunter). Work has already begun on updating information for 2014, so the headliners and dates are on the way. Tomorrowland as always is going to be huge, with the 5 day camping pass being the most sought after ticket in town. If you are unlucky enough not to get the tickets to Tomorrowland, there are a myriad of great festivals around Europe which will help you drown your sorrows in a sea of Rock, Pop, Electronic or Metal music, whatever you like is catered for! Other features to look out for are a new integrated Search feature, so if you are looking for a specific band or place, you can find it a lot easier. This means if you want to see where Hardwell is playing this summer; it is just a short search away. With all of the information you need for European Music Festivals in one place, festivalhunter is your number one resource for the future of Music Festival Information services. Get on board now, join the community, and help us make something special for all the Festival Hunters out there, on the hunt for the best Europe Festival.
