This catastrophe was a direct consequence of the first devastating Arab Moslem invasion of Persia in 7th century that had drained Iranians of their historical memory. They became an amnesiac nation, people without memory. Slowly, gradually, the Persian history, culture and civilisation that had been shining over the world during 1300 years, from 6th century BC to 7th century after Christ, faded away and were replaced by the Islamised Arab culture. The darkness that covered Iran after the second Moslem invasion in 1979, unlike the first one triggered out an extraordinary and powerful reaction, completely unexpected. And this reaction was an unprecedented awakening of historical consciousness particularly among the young generation that is called the “burned generation”. 1400 years of a deep amnesia is now going to be replaced by an illuminating awareness. We knew from the beginning that the fight against Islamism, which is primarily an ideology, could not be won by military, economic or political actions. This fight could be won only on a cultural level. And we knew that the instruments and tools of a culture war was none other than the powerful values and symbols that characterize this culture. In search of these values and symbols through over 4000 years of Persian history, the most powerful and the most precious of all that we found and recognized, was none other than the old Zarathustra and his sublime book called the Gathas composed about 4000 years ago. We recognized in him and his Existential Philosophy, perfectly universal and adaptable to our time, the golden key of liberation of Iran from the Islamic chains. In this clip, Dr. Khosro Khazai Pardis, the author of ten books and more than 250 articles on the subject, will present the essence of the Zarathustra’s Existential Philosophy and vision of the world. The clips on Zarathustra’s Existential Philosophy by Khosro Khazai Pardis are also available in French and in Persian languages. *Clip Video,The Rebirth of Zarathustra in Iran, by Khosro Khazai Pardis
